Shagufta Asad is an excellent teacher. My son was new to the Dubai school system although he came from the British curriculum and needs to improve his English language skills. He is the best teacher I have ever had. It was a great experience, I learned both biology and chemistry with him for my Cambridge IGCSE and A Level for 5 years. He will never leave you until you are a pro in your subject. After I got selected to my university here King's college-London, I still run into him when I have doubts in my studies. Ms. Laxmi is an excellent teacher who is very knowledgeable about her subject. She is also very friendly and makes each and every lesson engaging. Ms. Laxmi is able to adapt lessons based on the learning pace of the student and can convey topics in an understandable way. I am not fond of math, however, because of her style of teaching I found myself looking forward to each class.

With Ms. Laxmi's guidance in her IB Math AA tutoring, I was not astounding results with my grades, consistently scoring 7s with her biweekly help, I also found the subject to be enjoyable and interesting. Ms. Laxmi takes an individualized approach, in which her main focus is your understanding. She creates an environment where you are open to asking questions without being worried that you've spent too long not understanding a concept. If you are ever in the situation where you find yourself struggling, she will attempt all different angles to help you understand. I have been a student of Miss Sondes for around 3-4 months because I desperately needed aid with my IB standard level French as I was sitting at a low score of 3-4. But during my classes with Miss Sondes, I could tell her expertise in the subject as she knew exactly where I needed to improve to drastically increase my grade as well as how I could see myself becoming a better at the language. The most characteristic trait of her classes is the flexibility in her teachings. Ms. Sondes’ lessons are a bundle of education, excitement and challenge. She never fails to incorporate a range of activities that always leave me wanting to come back for another lesson! Madam Sondes has been exceptionally supportive through my journey during IB. She has a unique way of teaching that allows me to understand the French language at a deeper level.
