Overview

To provide our little Greenopians with the best early childhood experience in an eco-friendly setting, our Nursery endorses the CEHN Eco-Healthy Childcare Program. For the safety of our children, we have designed some exquisite anti-sliding socks for each child to wear upon arrival to school. On the other hand, for adults who visit and parents who drop and collect their children, we have placed two “Auto Shoe Cover Machines” on our main door as they function by automatically covering the shoe sole with a PCV covering in order to maintain the hygienic level all the time. As an Eco-friendly education community, we are keen to encourage and increase awareness of environmental responsibilities and implement practices that contribute to sustainable future children who can become environmentally responsible. Therefore, we have embedded into our operations those environmentally sustainable practices, where educators, children and families will be involved in. Our aim is to engage all parties in appreciating the wonder of the natural world while protecting the planet for future generations. This will be part of our daily routine, which includes: Recycling, Gardening, Energy conservation, water conservation. We have also created eco-friendly inspired characters, to reinforce our learning about the environment. Children will see Oak and Ivy everywhere in their school: on furniture, on their eco-friendly bags, on classrooms walls, and on the posters hung all around.
