Taught Mathematics, for 2 years at King Solomon international business school, one as a private tutor for students one-to-one succession, got a student from a Grade E to Grade B in Mathematics.
Taught KS3 science as a tutor for 2 years.
Approach:Starter questions for 5 minutes
10 minutes explanation.
5 minutes feedback and questioning.
20 minutes independence work, answering questions.
10 minutes feedback.
Most of my lesson is dialogue and questioning based.
With constant open questions, and exam questions at the end to consolidate topics.
