Experience:Having tutored since 2008, I have come across students with different needs and mindsets. With over 17 years of experience in the industry, I have become an "outlier". I relate to my students and personally ensure to stay in touch with them almost every day to address any questions they may have regarding past papers, exam kits, or question banks. The most crucial factor in passing these professional exams is "time management". Half of the battle is completing the exam while maintaining consistency with the terminology and calculations that the examiner expects from each applicant.
Approach:My involvement in the process is to make sure I keep an eagle eye on my tutees, pushing them to their limits to achieve higher marks with deliberate practice, and making the entire experience as enjoyable as possible. Coupled with technical knowledge and effective exam techniques that are continuously imparted to the tutees, they will not only pass but also excel as high achievers. It is quite common for my tutees to achieve grades between 75% to 80% and above. I am very patient and committed to my students, and firmly believe in assessing their understanding of a subject, their level of competence, and then focusing on exam techniques, question banks, and past papers to help them reach their highest potential.
