Experience:

I'm an American tutor in the Palm! I have a Masters from the University of Cambridge, UK, and a Bachelors from Temple University, USA. I have 10 years of experience teaching and am certified in the USA. I am happy to help you reach your academic goals!

I have worked with secondary, high school, and college students for essay writing and college applications. I have also assisted secondary students with homework in English, Social Studies, and History, as well as with IB extended essay writing.

Additionally, I work with elementary students in all subjects. I have experience teaching elementary grades such as PreK, 2nd grade, and 5th grade in a classroom setting.

Approach:

The first session is typically to analyze the student's goals and expectations and to target any tasks they need completed. From there, I like to build a relationship with the student, their parents, and their teachers if possible to ensure we are working toward a common goal. I often research curriculum that aligns with their learning to help target weaknesses during our sessions together. I specialize in IB and US curriculum, but am familiar with Waldorf and British curriculum.
