Experience:I am a fully qualified teacher. I completed a 3-year course in the United Kingdom and graduated in 2021. I am now in my fourth year of teaching. In addition, I have been tutoring children since 2016 as I took child education as an A level, and I have always been passionate about supporting children and helping them progress. My priority is to ensure each child is learning through fun and engaging lessons. With my great knowledge of children's development, teaching styles, and adaptation to children's learning, I am confident that each child will make great progression throughout 1:1 sessions. Another priority is to ensure that the parents/guardians are regularly kept up to date with their child's progression. I have undertaken high-level phonics training with Read Write Inc in the UK and I am currently teaching FS in Dubai.
Approach:Firstly, I like to understand and build a positive rapport with the child. It is important that each child is willing to learn and motivated in the sessions. Each session is dependent on the child’s needs and areas of support. Moreover, I plan the sessions based on the child’s interests, which makes the sessions more inviting. For example, if a child’s favourite toy is Superman, then we will base our learning around Superman. In my experience, this has helped gain the child’s interest significantly.
