Experience:I have been an English teacher for over 24 years now, most of which has been focused on IELTS and other standardized English tests. Having dealt with thousands of students, I have a wealth of experience in training students for IELTS, enabling them to overcome all the challenges they face in the test. I have also written three books on IELTS, and the fourth and fifth ones are in progress now.
Approach:My teaching strategy is based on real, hands-on experience that students would have to gain to face IELTS successfully. In my writing task 2, for example, what students need to do is brainstorm topics and make a paragraph plan accordingly, so they feel that they have built up more self-confidence after the end of each session. Homework is also an integral component of all my classes, as it guides me and the students towards the predetermined goals of the course.
