Experience:With a Master of Science (M.Sc) in Polymer Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Chemistry, I have over 12 years of experience teaching students, focusing on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Throughout my career, I have honed my teaching techniques to suit each student's unique knowledge level. I am experienced in teaching various syllabi, including Cambridge and Edexcel, and have successfully guided students from Grade 6 through to Advanced Level. My strength lies in identifying the most effective teaching style for each student, allowing me to deliver lessons that enhance their understanding and significantly improve their academic performance.
Approach:In my first session with a student, I focus on analyzing their current knowledge level, understanding how they grasp lessons, and identifying areas where they may feel confused or stuck. Based on this assessment, I tailor my lesson plans, starting with fundamental theories and gradually progressing to deeper concepts. I believe in the importance of practice, incorporating both new and past exam questions to reinforce knowledge, clarify concepts, and ensure that the student fully understands the material.
If the student already has a strong grasp of the subject, I focus on addressing their weaker areas to further improve their performance without wasting time. I utilize a variety of teaching methods, including examples, questioning, discussions, and videos, to deliver high-quality lesson explanations. This approach is effective for both students with lower scores, helping them build a solid foundation, as well as for high-achieving students looking to boost their marks.
