Experience:I'm excited to share my tutoring journey with you. With over 11 years of tutoring experience and 5 years in formal teaching, I have a deep understanding of Psychology and a passion for student success. I hold a PGCE with QTS in Psychology from the Institute of Education, University of London (UCL), a BSc in Psychology from Royal Holloway University, and a Master’s in Cultural Psychology and Psychiatry from Queen Mary University of London. Currently, I’m the Head of Psychology at a prestigious school in Dubai, specializing in KS4 and KS5, focusing on the GCSE and A-Level curriculum.
My teaching approach is student-centered and interactive, creating an engaging environment where students feel comfortable sharing their thoughts. I adapt to different learning styles, using discussions, case studies, and practical applications to make concepts relatable. My strengths include effective exam preparation strategies, utilizing past papers and revision techniques to build students' confidence and ensure they excel.

Approach:I plan my lessons utilising research-based pedagogy that emphasises collaborative, reflective, and inquiry-based approaches. This framework fosters active engagement with the material, encouraging deeper learning. During tutoring sessions, I provide regular feedback on students' responses, assisting them in understanding content, structuring their answers effectively, and preparing for exam questions. I specialise in the British AQA Specification but also have experience with other exam boards, enabling me to tailor my techniques to meet the specific needs of each student while ensuring they achieve a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
