Experience:In my last role as a Temporary English Lecturer at the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka, I had the privilege of working with a diverse group of students. My focus was on fostering their language skills and preparing them for communication demands in the Management and IT industries.
During my tenure at the university, I implemented various teaching methodologies that allowed me to create engaging lesson plans and deliver dynamic classroom instruction. I successfully implemented student-centered approaches that encouraged active participation and critical thinking. Additionally, I integrated technology and multimedia resources to enhance the learning experience and promote a dynamic and interactive classroom environment. As a result, my students consistently achieved notable improvements in their English language proficiency and expressed their appreciation for my supportive and engaging teaching style.

Approach:My goal as a teacher is to create a conducive learning environment while arousing in my learners a passion to learn. As a language teacher, my goal is to promote experiential learning and knowledge generation, develop thinking skills and instill motivation and interest in the subject in learners. However, in my teaching journey, I am committed to improving my performance further as an educator.
