Experience:Hello! My name is Daniel, and I am excited to offer my expertise in A-Level and GCSE Economics and A-Level Politics.
With 2.5 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of helping my students achieve remarkable results: 65% of my previous cohort attained A*-A and 99% achieved A*-B in Politics, while 58% achieved A*-A and 95% attained A*-B in Economics.
I hold a Master’s degree in Economic Development Policy from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and a teaching degree from the University of Oxford. Currently, I am in my final year of a research master’s program at the University of Oxford, focusing on university applications for economics and politics courses.
I believe in the importance of using current examples to make economic concepts relatable and engaging. My teaching approach includes a ‘devil’s advocate’ strategy to enhance evaluative skills, encouraging students to think critically and develop well-rounded arguments.
I currently head up the economic department in a leading international school in Abu Dhabi. I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and challenging learning environment, and I am here to help you succeed. Approach:My lessons are planned in line with the Edexcel International A-level & GCSE Economics specifications. GCSE features approximately 100 separate lessons that cover the entire spec, while A-level features 225 lessons.
Politics lessons are planned in line with the Edexcel A-level specification, with the ideology of nationality being chosen.
