Experience:I am an experienced tutor with a strong background in both the Social Sciences and academic support. Over the past several years, I’ve helped students excel in subjects they once struggled with, particularly at the college level. I specialize in college-level math and statistics, where I’ve guided students from repeated failure to passing their courses.
In one case, I tutored six math students who had repeatedly failed, and after our sessions, all six successfully passed their course. Similarly, I taught statistics to a group of five students, with four moving on to the next level of their studies.
I also offer support in academic writing, where I’ve helped students score 80% and above on their final papers. My experience spans across a variety of subjects, including introductory courses in Sociology, Political Science, and History. I’m well-versed in guiding students through various types of written assignments such as research papers, reflection papers, and presentations.
I was a teaching assistant and research assistant for four years during my undergraduate studies at the American University of Sharjah, where I earned my BA in International Studies. Afterward, I completed my MA in Education from University College London, during which I continued tutoring freelance. My approach focuses on helping students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed academically.

These sessions allow me to fine-tune my techniques to best suit their needs, whether that involves breaking down complex concepts, developing better study habits, or enhancing their writing skills.
I believe in adapting my teaching methods to cater to each individual, whether they thrive with visual aids, practice problems, or discussion-based learning. I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and challenge themselves. My goal is not only to help students excel in their current subjects but also to equip them with the tools and strategies to continue learning effectively throughout their academic journey.
