Experience:Hi, my name is Menchie and it's nice to meet you! I am a Filipino but currently residing in the UAE. I am a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Education, a PRC licensed teacher in the Philippines, and a holder of Civil Service Professional license. Before coming here to Dubai, I was a private tutor for 3 years for students in primary and elementary levels, where I taught major subjects such as Mathematics, English, Filipino, Science, and TLE. I have taken units in Masters of Mathematics and Masters in Public Administration. Currently, I am working as an Executive in a corporate office in Dubai for 15 years now. With my flexible work schedule and passion for teaching, I would love to continue my teaching profession as a private tutor for students in primary/secondary during my free time.
Approach:First, I need to establish the expectations. This involves getting to know my student's strengths and areas where improvement is mostly required. My tutoring approach is based upon a student's current level of understanding of the subject. I then choose the right and appropriate activities, wrap up and recap previous lesson materials, set homework, and in cases where spare time is available, I do advance lesson studying.
