I am a dedicated and experienced Biology/Science teacher and examiner who is passionate about helping students gain knowledge and exam skills to pass exams with high grades.

Experience:I have extensive biology teaching experience at secondary school, high school, college, and university. I have been teaching general science (biology, chemistry, and physics) at junior and mid school levels (11-14 year olds) and biology at high school (O-Level, GCSE) and advanced levels (A-levels) and IB.
I am a qualified biology teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching biology at all levels, from junior secondary school to higher education. I am also an examiner for GCSE and A-level Biology in the UK and abroad. As a result, I have a very good knowledge of all the examinable content and coursework components for all levels.
I have also taught students in UAE on the UK biology syllabuses at junior, high school, and advanced levels in preparation for their IGCSE or Cambridge international exams.
Approach:My teaching approach and philosophy are student-centered. Tutoring should always be student-led, and this is the philosophy I employ. I have found it very effective in retaining students' knowledge and its application. As an experienced teacher, I have adapted my teaching style to be flexible and personalize my teaching methods/materials tailored to the student's needs. I have found that reviewing an area of the content, explaining the difficult concepts/areas and complex processes, and going through the examination-style questions is very effective. The objective is to build confidence and skills to improve examination performance.
