Experience:I have been teaching in the UAE for 6 years now. I worked in Al Ain for four years and have completed 2 years in Dubai, now starting my third year in Dubai. I have taught KG1-Grade 2 in schools, teaching students English, Math, Science & Social Studies. I have an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and I have also completed the PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) in Primary Education. I have been tutoring for five years. I have tutored students from KG1 - Grade 6 in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies. I have mostly tutored the SABIS curriculum but can do other curriculums too!
Approach:I plan my lessons based on the students' needs and knowledge level of the subject. I go back to the basics and build on what the child already knows. I review what the students have been covering in class to ensure they have grasped the concepts. I try to make the lessons as fun as possible, especially for the kindergarten and lower primary aged students.
