Experience:I have worked as a school teacher for 1 year in Ireland. I am a native English speaker and work as an English teacher here in Abu Dhabi. I love teaching and combine this with my music and drama interests to create a truly unique experience for my students.
I have taught online in the past months and understand how difficult the language can be for non-native speakers. I address this by implementing a Gradual Release of Responsibility approach, which allows the children to ease themselves into practicing the language.
I don't rush my students; they work at their own pace. However, I always push them to strive for improvement.
Approach:My approach is simply fun, personal, engaging, and passionate. I love what I do and they will see that.
I also speak Spanish, so this makes it easier to transfer across languages.
