I often begin with an assessment to gauge the student's strengths and areas for improvement. From there, I design lessons that target specific concepts, employing a variety of resources such as worksheets, textbooks, multimedia materials, and interactive activities to reinforce learning.
Lessons typically run for 60 to 90 minutes, allowing ample time for in-depth exploration of topics, practice exercises, and constructive feedback. I believe in creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, essential components for growth and understanding.
As a tutor, I hold a bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Science and a Masters in Secondary Education, along with extensive experience in tutoring students ranging from KS2 to KS4, including those preparing for GCSE/IGCSE exams. My expertise also extends to supporting English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in my teaching approach.
