Experience:I am an outstanding, qualified English teacher with 9 years of teaching experience in London, Dubai, and New York. I have taught students with a range of abilities and needs from ages 10-18 in both the British and American curriculum. If you are looking for a tutor who makes sessions fun and engaging while also delivering results, I am the tutor for you!
Approach:My approach is to first talk to my students to find out what they enjoy most about English and what they feel they need support with. I then assess my students' abilities by asking them to complete a short piece of written work which I then grade. By deciphering my students' strengths and weaknesses as well as what they enjoy, I am able to tailor my teaching so that it addresses their needs while keeping them engaged in our sessions. Furthermore, I am happy to adjust my planning to accommodate upcoming exams or homework for school.
