Experience:I have worked as both a tutor and classroom teacher for 11 years in various countries, including New Zealand, Italy, Brazil, and the United Kingdom. I bring infinite excitement for Science and Biology, as well as an unwavering belief that anyone can exceed their own expectations in their achievement in these topics, as long as they give me 100% effort and commitment in our lessons, as well as preparation before the lessons.
Approach:In terms of tutoring, I enroll the student in a Google Classroom. Then, I send a full list of lessons so that the student can follow the sequence, and if they disagree, we can organize in advance a sequence that suits the student (and parents).
Furthermore, each lesson will begin with a brief review or quiz related to the previous lesson, followed by a discussion of any homework. Next, we will discuss the new topic and activities in the new lesson, engaging in a conversation about the new lesson and watching relevant clips. Throughout the lesson, I ask questions to assess the student's progress and understanding of the new ideas. Finally, I will conclude with a summary of the lesson topic and an online quiz to gauge their comprehension.
All progress, homework, and quiz results will be recorded on their personal Google Classroom, accessible for parents to review. If time permits, I will create a summary assessment covering the topics taught and provide the student with comprehensive feedback on their performance.
