Experience:I am a former English Teacher who worked with the iGCSE English language and literature course for EDEXCEL, AQA, and the Cambridge course. I have tutored students for 4 years independently on exam skills and material, specializing in writing organization and language analysis. I have tutored students ranging from Year 5 to Year 11 in developing key skills to improve their reading and writing abilities.
Approach:I use a hands-on approach that attempts to keep in line with what the students are doing in school to ensure they are consolidating the material they are working on. This is to ensure they are maximizing their potential within the lesson. In terms of lesson planning, I am well-versed in planning to ensure they are challenged and supported. This is especially evident in extended writing tasks, where I am able to mark and give feedback on their work to ensure continued growth.
