Experience:Currently, I have two tutorials and I am in my 4th year now with them. It was an after-school session of 1 hour and about 2 hours on the weekend. I am teaching them Math, English, and Science. I also include other subjects in English medium like Arts, ICT, PE, and Humanities when reviewing for upcoming exams or for any assigned project. I usually follow the school curriculum as it progresses every week. During the weekend session, I usually give advanced lessons for the upcoming week. Based on the given topic, I incorporate my approach from easy to learn to strategic ways and means of learning it.
My qualification as an educator does not simply apply from my academic years. Instead, I embrace continuous learning to provide me with updated educational materials. Since I have an ASD student, I restudy for better understanding on how to handle her. I treat her with extra care but with an extensive individual education plan that is not far behind her regular classmates. What makes me unique, I would say, is that imparting my knowledge comes with passion and applied values towards my students' studying behavior.
Approach:Easy-to-learn techniques. Easy-to-hard examples, exercises, worksheets. Visuals as needed. Projects, activities, actual experiments for better understanding. Understanding the lessons, not simply memorizing.
Prepares, studies, and delivers lessons accordingly. Strict mandate in achieving the target daily lesson plan.
