Experience:

I have accumulated over 4 years of tutoring experience, starting as a professional teacher in a school following the British Curriculum, where I taught English to Grade 2 students. Transitioning to online teaching during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, I began instructing students aged 10 to 15, spanning from primary to high school levels. Recently, I've ventured into mentoring for IELTS, catering exclusively to online students in Pakistan.

I firmly believe that online tuition, particularly in achieving specific goals like improving spoken English, has proven to be an effective and efficient teaching method. My teaching approach prioritizes learning and acquiring information through a task-based methodology. After instruction, I emphasize practice to reinforce learning.

For instance, when focusing on enhancing spoken English, I first assess a student's strengths and weaknesses in that area through conversation. Based on this evaluation, I tailor my approach to address areas needing improvement.

Flexibility is key in my teaching methodology, recognizing that each student is unique. I adapt my teaching techniques to suit individual learning styles and needs.

Approach:

In planning my lessons, I adhere to both school/college requirements and the individual needs and strengths of my students. My tutoring specialty lies in establishing a strong bond with students, motivating them to exceed their own expectations. My students are encouraged to engage with the subject matter, share their opinions, and question what they know, making learning more enjoyable and natural.

I believe that learning, completing homework, and preparing for tests should not be sources of frustration for students. While it's natural for students to have moods, I prioritize patience and understanding to create a positive learning environment.

Tutoring, to me, is about dedicating focused attention to each student during our time together, which ultimately leads to positive results.
