Experience:

I have tutored ever since I had my children as it was the most convenient way to look after them and work at the same time. My teaching is designed to accommodate each and every child’s needs therefore I do not have a set way or method. I first analyse where the child is at and what their strengths and weaknesses are, thereafter devising what route is best for them. I am British which means all my education was completed in the uk from SATS to GCSE’s and then A levels and degree/Masters.

Approach:

As I carry out online tuition I first have a checklist to see what school a child is at and then check the schools curriculum and route of study. I would have a discussion with parents to make sure we are all on the same page and that we go through the latest school report and discuss any particular areas of concern they’d like to concentrate on. After that I will put together a plan to have either weekly or monthly targets to make sure we track progress.
