Experience:

I earned my Master's Degree in Marine Biology from Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies and completed my Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from St. Joseph's College for Women, Alappuzha. Additionally, I hold a B.Ed in Natural Science. My training as a student teacher provided valuable hands-on experience in working with young children. Throughout my training, I fulfilled various responsibilities that have equipped me for the role of a full-time teacher.

Approach:

In this marine biology lesson, students will be introduced to the fascinating world of marine ecosystems and organisms. Utilizing multimedia resources such as PowerPoint presentations, videos, and hands-on activities, students will explore key concepts such as marine biodiversity, ecosystem dynamics, and conservation efforts. Through interactive discussions and group activities, students will engage in critical thinking and problem-solving, fostering a deeper understanding of marine biology principles. Assessment will be conducted through pre-assessment quizzes, formative observations, and summative quizzes or projects. The lesson will culminate in a reflection session where students share their newfound knowledge and questions, promoting active learning and inquiry-based exploration. Throughout the lesson, the "Think-Pair-Share" tutoring technique will be employed to encourage collaboration and student engagement.
