I have worked with many athletes of varying ability from Semi- pro to grassroots. My coaching approach changes and adapts all the time to suit the needs of the athletes. My own learning as a coach is constantly being updated as I strive to become the best I can be. constant analysis and reflection sessions push me to work on things I think can benefit my athletes. The masters degree I completed taught me to put my coaching under a microscope and analyse things about my coaching most coaches miss

Approach:

When I coach or mentor, I prioritize working on the psychological aspect before addressing the technical, tactical, and physical aspects. Creating a strong mentality lays the foundation for success in all other areas. I focus on building confidence and developing mistake management skills to teach athletes how to train effectively. In my sessions, I ask a lot of questions to delve into the mindset of the athlete, aiming to understand their thought process. In psychology, there are no right or wrong answers; the key is to understand what they think and feel.
