Hello. I'm Chris. I am British and British-trained. I have taught Science for 15 years. I have been rated as an Outstanding Teacher and once nominated for KHDA Teacher of the Year award! I have taught in the UK and the UAE. In the UAE I was an Assistant Headteacher, and I was a Head of Science. I have taught UK Curriculum (GCSE/ A-Level); IB MYP and DP and the US AP over my career. For your peace of mind, I have a UAE Private Tutor Permit. 

Approach:

I am friendly and encouraging. I know how to bring the best out of a student. Students' say that I explain ideas in fun and easy-to-understand ways so that students' feel safe, yet challenged. I align my lessons with specifications and curricula. In a typical session, I will spend time carefully answering questions. I will teach a new topic stopping along the way to ensure everything is understood before moving on. We will then do past-paper questions to grow your confidence.
