I am a Music Theory and Piano Instructor with over 8 years of experience teaching aspiring musicians. I possess a deep knowledge of classical methods and techniques, including harmony, solfege, musical forms analysis, ContraPoint, polyphonic music, sight reading, classical piano techniques, and Western music history.

Approach:

As a music instructor, my approach includes teaching Solfege to help students read notes and sight-read melodies. I also focus on imparting basic music theory concepts, such as key signatures, rhythms, and harmony. Ear training is an essential component of my instruction, helping students recognize intervals, melodies, and chords by ear. I guide students in mastering piano basics, including chair posture, hand positioning, and finger numbers. Visualizing and playing melodies is a key skill I emphasize, and I often use etudes to enhance performance.
