Experience:

I am an eperienced SEN teacher, confident in teaching pupils with mild to severe ASD and related disorders in pupils. I have an indepth knowldege of ADD, ADHD, emotional and behavioural difficulties including trauma related issues. I have worked closely with pupils from the ages of 5-25 with a combination of these challenges.

I tutor English, Maths, Science, Humanities Subjects  & Life Skills. I can also work closely with your child's Occupational therapist, Speech and Language therapist, Educational Psychologist and Physiotherapist to collborate and combine a well rounded and combined approach for your child. 

Alongside traditional tutoring - I can also assist in reviewing IEP's and EHCP's and I can create plans for your child to reach these goals through tutoring. I can liase with schools and evaluate your child's specific needs - especially if these are not being met at school. I also work with children to help with thier socialisation skills and life skills and can tailor a programme to suit your child. Alongside my interests in SEN, I am also an outstanding teacher of English, Sociology and Psychology (GCSE & A Level). 

Approach:

I have taught in prestigious schools and colleges in the UK and Abu Dhabi. I am kind and patient with excellent subject knowledge. I am also very experienced at teaching pupils with SEN. I am extremely organised and each lesson is recorded (with a plan) and feed back given. I  use multiple teaching methods from IT to role play.

Depending on requirements I charge between 200 aed to 350 aed per hour.
