My approach begins with a thorough understanding of the child's specific needs. I conduct a demo class, evaluate the child's performance, and continuously review their progress. I adapt various teaching strategies and gradually focus on the most effective one for the student. Additionally, I incorporate visual aids, flashcards, learning toys, and materials to enhance the learning experience. My qualifications include a diploma in Montessori, Cache Level 3 in SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) training, and a degree in Law. Currently, I am employed as a learning support assistant in a British school setting, where I apply my expertise to support students in their educational journey.

Approach:

Begin by engaging in a conversation with the parent to gain insights into the child's specific needs and learning preferences. Conduct an initial evaluation with the child to assess their current level of understanding and identify areas that require focus. Develop a comprehensive lesson plan, set specific targets, and create an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) tailored to the child's unique requirements. Utilize a range of engaging tools such as flashcards, educational toys, tokens, games, and materials aligned with the child's interests to make learning an enjoyable experience. Incorporate short breaks of 5-7 minutes between lessons to ensure the child remains attentive and refreshed. Implement various teaching techniques, such as the Discrete Trial Technique, Naturalistic approach, or pictorial methods, depending on the child's individual needs and progress, with the flexibility to adapt as improvement occurs.
