Experience:

I am a focused and dedicated primary school teacher who is passionate about promoting a love of learning. I have taught in England for 2 years and I am now in my third year of Teaching in Dubai. I have experience teaching ages 5-11 in all core subjects, as well as additional classes. My students make great progress with specific targets. I am extremely organised and hardworking which I expect in return from my students. I have prepared and administered grade specific tests regulated by the KHDA.

Approach:

When tutoring I will conduct a baseline assessment establish areas of improvement and base planning from. The work provided will then be age appropriate for the needs of the student. We will work on specific targets as well as working on objectives the student may be struggling with in school. Lessons will be prepared on an iPad as well as printed. I use positive praise and lots of positive reinforcements to engage the child so they can learn in a comfortable and happy environment.
