Experience:

I studied in Ireland, and from the first year of college, we were sent straight into teaching practice, which was great as it threw us into the deep end. I learned a lot during my placements, including my passion for tutoring. After a couple of months of being on placement, I noticed that not all students thrive in a classroom environment. This is when I started tutoring. It has been incredibly rewarding to be the person who helps students reach their academic potential.

Approach:

My approach is always to remain open-minded. Every child is unique, and as a result, each lesson plan must be adjusted according to the student's needs. Some techniques that I love to implement include using mini whiteboards - which are always a student favorite - and incorporating mini games into the learning process. I strive to make the lessons relevant to the child's life so that they can easily grasp the concepts.
