MS of Psychology Degree, US Licensed Teacher, and Clinical Mental Health Experience

Experience:

Over 8 years of in teaching/tutoring & 10 years in mental health. Founder of a behavioral intervention, empowerment, & exploratory learning program. I have taught Sociology, Psychology, & History on the high school level in various countries. I assist LSA in creating & modifying IEP plans. I have lectured on Social Justice, Education, & Mental Health for various organizations & universities. Certificates in NLP, SEL, Cyberbullying, Depression Counseling, and Dream Analysis & Interpretation

Approach:

Traditional ways of tutoring & modes of learning can be a bit overwhelming/dull for this new generation of students. Lesson plans are tailored to the interests/ learning needs of the student. I never promote the creation of that robotic student that can only parrot info that has been taught. What makes my technique unique is that I blend my military experience with my educational experience. I can use music, art, dance, etc as a way to merge physical muscle memory with mental muscle memory.
