BA in Applied linguistics/ PGCE/ TEFL Certificate

Experience:

I hold a PGCE. Also, I have completed a BA Honors Degree in Applied Linguistics and a BA Degree in Fashion Design. Additionally, I have a TEFL certificate. Furthermore, I have 13 years of English teaching experience with students ranging from KG to University. During these years I have taught both in class as well as online. My experience in teaching all English skills (Reading, writing, speaking and listening) gives me an advantage in helping students raise their language attainment.

Approach:

I believe learning should be engaging and fun. Therefore, I employ a student center approach to my teaching. My lessons focus on creating connections with students' interests and the things they learn in school. The ultimate goal is to make the educational process more meaningful to students. During my lessons I make use of various activities to promote student centered learning. These include games, worksheets, PowerPoints, videos, role-plays, songs and stories.
