Qualification:

Bachelor of Arts in kathak dance

Experience:

I adore and worship dance. My objective in life is to serve Indian classical dance and teach and perform Kathak for the rest of my life. I have completed my Bachelor of Arts (Visharad) in Kathak and have been doing stage shows, performances, choreographies for the past 12 years.

Approach:

I teach Kathak Movements using real life examples . For example, move your hands as if you are brushing a wall, or do the mudra as if you are holding a ball etc Whatever I teach in class, Recorded Session for that particular class will be given to student for the reference. After teaching a particular thing in kathak, I will try to put them on a classical / Bollywood song I focus more on story telling and expressions and will teach basics of music first before teaching any Taal in kathak
