Experience:

I have been an English teacher for 4 years; I have also been a tutor for the last 7. I have experience in tutoring English from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4. I have seen 9 students through to their GCSE examinations in the UK, in which they have all passed. I am very well versed in OCR, Pearsons Edexcel and the AQA examinations. I have tailored many lessons to suit my students needs. Additionally, I have experience in creating rubrics so I am confident in what the examiners are looking for.

Approach:

I believe that every child is different. I spend time strategising the best way to maximise and strengthen my students skills, whilst helping to improve their weaknesses. I plan all sessions in advance, making sure I implement these strategies, I also plan regular homework/revision that is marked with effective feedback. I pride myself in creating sessions that feel light hearted whilst still making a lot of progress.
