Experience:

I am an IB biology teacher and examiner. I have more than 15 years of experience in teaching and tutoring. I am passionate about teaching and through my work with the IBO as an internal assessment (IA) and biology SL examiner I can support students to understand the criteria for exams and IA. I am confident with the syllabus and can guide students into preparing well for their IB biology exams.

Approach:

I can manage both online and face to face tutoring. I usually start with a brief description of the topic, new terminologies to be understood. I use storytelling approach for students to understand the concepts and I rely on mixing between illustrations by drawings and using words on flashcards. I believe that students are more indulged when they are properly engaged in the lesson.
