Experience:

I have worked in education in South Africa, the UK (National curriculum for 18 years) and now the UAE (IB curriculum). My expertise is learning support and supporting students who may be falling behind in their studies for whichever reasons. I’m patient, resilient, motivated and persistent. As an educator, I have the knowledge, skills, experience and understanding on how to best support your child with a range of needs in all subjects and across different curriculums.

Approach:

Gathering and gaining a clear understanding of your child’s strengths and needs helps me to identify the best starting points, filling gaps and enhancing strengths. Having the right starting point will help us to make quicker gains over shorter periods, building your child’s resilience and confidence. Using a variety of techniques and strategies, I plan and execute each tutoring session based on your child’s individual needs.
