Experience:

I am in my 6th year of teaching. I have a strong interest across the curriculum - in particular Maths, English, History, and Geography! I have a degree and a Masters in Math, English and Geography and have 6 years of experience giving private tuition to Primary and secondary school students. I'm an extremely sporty and outgoing person.I like to add movement, laughter, and fun to my lessons as I believe a positive learning environment is essential for true learning to take place.

Approach:

I am a patient teacher who will wait until I am certain that the prior material has been understood completely before moving on to other topics. Depending on the topic and grade level, my teaching methodology differs. Reading is emphasized in primary school English classes, and we will work on novels, comprehension techniques, and reading techniques including predicting, inferring, and connecting. I take a careful, enjoyable, patient, and most importantly, polite approach to grinding.
