Experience:

I have been teaching for over 10 years in the UK and Abu Dhabi as a Teacher of English (primary and secondary) and now Head of English for years 3-8. I use a flexible teaching approach and have been tutoring children from the age of 3 to 18. I am phonics trained and also can tutor Maths and Science to Primary level. My familiarity is with the British Curriculum and all examination boards for GCSE and A Level. I have also been an examiner for AQA.

Approach:

After a baseline assessment, a tailor made plan is constructed to suit the needs of the individual. We focus on areas that the student wishes to focus on. Lessons are planned in line with assessment criteria and a success criteria is also provided to students.
