Qualification:

Qualified English teacher.

Experience:

2 years online TEFL teaching experience ( adults and kids: business English; IETLS preparation). 1year ABET ( adult based education and training) experience. Preparing students for final/ grade 12 exams. 6 years experience as an English teacher (MYP/High school).

Approach:

My classes are fun and engaging, most importantly I love to see my students having fun while learning. Students feeling valued and safe is vital in creating a conducive learning environment. Thus my aim is to work with students to develop a tutoring plan that suits their individual needs.  I facilitate learning and the students are the center of the learning processes- focusing on students academic development. Depending on student levels, collaboration is also important, I work with and encourage the students to use critical thinking while incorporating a variety of teaching techniques.
