Experience:

Experienced in American, British and IB curriculum. I've taught in Dubai, Italy, England and Canada. In my 13+ years of teaching, I have taught students from age 3 to 15 and can offer an inquiry based approach to teaching and learning. Since covid, I have moved to teaching online as this was more convenient for most families. As I had to learn to teach my classes at school online during covid, I became confident with this method of teaching and find it quite successful for tutoring as well.

Approach:

My lessons are structured to meet the individual needs of the student. Lessons are interactive and engaging in order to make learning enjoyable and natural. I keep an open dialogue with the homeroom teacher or the specific subject teacher to make sure I know what is coming forward and to know any gaps in the student's learning at school. This communication with the school teacher, parent and myself ensures that we are consistent and working together to support the child in the best way possible.
