Experience:

I have been a qualified teacher in Scotland for 10 years and moved to the UAE in August 2022. I am fully registered to teach Geography and Psychology, and due to the nature of the curriculum in Scotland, I also have experience of teaching elements of History and Politics. My classes get very successful exam results and I adapt my teaching to meet the needs of students.

Approach:

I have a friendly, approachable and relaxed approach but I'm able to "push" students on when it is required. For tutoring, I like to know in advance what the student wants to focus on in the session so that I can prepare relevant and appropriate materials to match their needs. I am also happy to be given notice of any assignments they have been issued so that I can again consider in advance what their best approach might be and then use the tutor time to work on this with the student.
