Experience:

I believe that my experience as a volunteer at the Kiddie Learning Train in PBED as a para-teacher will give me confidence as tutor. My strong academics and work ethics make me a suitable candidate to join institution. Moreover, I attended workshops like Microsoft Training in 21st Century Learning Design, STEM: An Innovative Pedagogical Focus, and an online workshop for Test Construction. I also passed the English Proficiency Exam and was trained using TLAC techniques.

Approach:

I always plan my lesson to be active and engaging as I am/will be teaching kids. I try to make my objectives as clear and fun as possible to make my pupils feel they can learn without intimidating pressure. What makes my lessons one of a kind is how I shape them to be an active-learning process-meaning I facilitate their activities. My technique is to follow up with questions that extend knowledge and check for full understanding rather than stopping after a student gives you the correct answer.
