Experience:

Faith has taught piano for 8 years at prestigious international schools in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is patient, kind and also serious about maintaining standards. She is especially good with children and preparing students for piano examinations and attaining merit and distinction results. She is also capable of working with children who have special learning needs as she has a Master's in Music Therapy in addition to her Bachelor of Music degree.

Approach:

Faith determines individual goals with her students and their parents (where appropriate) - whether for examination or recreational purposes or for special therapeutic needs. She is always flexible and continuously tracks progress and adjusts goals as necessary. She uses a variety of tutoring material ranging from Alfred, Bastien and Schaum depending on the age and skill level of the individual. She has in-depth knowledge of the Trinity syllabus as well as ABRSM and Rock School.
