Experience:

I have a B.Sc. In Mass Communication and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. The following are highlights of my accomplishment, experiences and skills: I have been an elementary classroom teacher for children between ages 5-10 for the past 4 years. I have continuously engaged in Professional development programs such as TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), Dyslexia Teaching, Blended and Hybrid Learning.

Approach:

My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves. My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. I also encourage my students to think for themselves. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I make use of real life experiences, ESL games and activities.
