Experience:

I am currently teaching DP and MYP Physics in an IB school. Previously I've also taught MYP general science and DP Mathematics in school and tutored students from various curricula (A-level, AP, etc.) I hold a physics degree and an international Postgraduate Certificate in Education. My greatest strength is helping students develop an interest in the subject and gain a sense of achievement through a scaffolded problem-solving process.

Approach:

My lessons are adapted based on each student's needs. Materials such as syllabi, subject guides, and requirements from their teachers in school will be used to help with lesson planning. Due to the nature of math and physics, learning through practice is heavily promoted in my lessons. Based on this process, areas that require further development will be explained systematically and more similar practice questions will be given to ensure students can apply knowledge learned independently.
