Experience:

I have been teaching IB/MYP students and O-levels students for about 6 years. What i found is that Mathematics is quite a misunderstood subject and most of the students find it difficult because of the way it is taught. It can be made easier if a concept is understood the right way and that way other correlated concepts are easier to understand as well.

Approach:

To assess my students capabilities I explain an easier to understand scenario that includes the usage of the mathematical concept, followed by a few questions related and judging on the response I explain the concept further so it's best understood by the individual.
