Experience:

I am passionate about teaching. I love to see the amazing progress that a child can make with the right support. I believe in positive reinforcement and challenging the student to do the best that they can. I love reading and believe that we need to foster a love of reading in all children. I have been working as a Primary and Early Years teacher in International schools for over 10 years.

Approach:

I believe that the curriculum needs to be developed and adapted to suit a particular child's needs and abilities. One size does not fit all! All children have special talents and unique abilities. It is up to the teacher to find these out and develop them. I spend a lot of time organising and planning lessons that will specifically target the needs of each child. I use a lot of visuals in my teaching which keeps the child engaged.
