Experience:

I have over 10+ years of experience with teaching, tutoring, and the American Curriculum. I also have over 5 years experience with STEM/STEAM learning. I love a hands on approach when it comes to teaching and problem based learning by using real world scenarios to help students make connections with what they are learning. I am certified KG-Grade 5, with a speciality in working with English language learners.

Approach:

Lessons are planned based on the interests of the student and made engaging. When teaching and tutoring students, I use real world scenarios to help students make connections and apply different academic skills to their everyday life. Also, during the lesson, I like to meet students where they are academic and build from there to help increase their knowledge and understanding. I also offer academic enrichment support as well to students.
