Qualification:

Bachelor of Secondary Education and currently taking up my Masters degree in English Language.

Experience:

Knowledgeable tutor with 5 years of experience working with students of different age and grade level. Ability to coordinate instruction with classroom teachers. Capable of providing academic support in English, math and science from primary grades to college-level topics. I can teach phonics for reading improvement. I had an experience teaching autism student. Helping him to improve his social skills and academic skills at school.

Approach:

My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds. I use questions and examples to check understanding continually.
